Configuration Panel
The configuration panel is found in the Personal tab.
Gestures
This section defines what SensorLock should do when you rotate the phone in your hand.
Gestures toggle lock
When this option is not checked, SensorLock will lock the phone when you rotate it clockwise and unlock it when you rotate it anticlockwise.
When checked, rotating the phone in either direction will toggle the lock state between locked and unlocked.
Gestures lock ...
This option defines what parts of the phone will be locked when you perform a locking gesture.
Touch panel - locks the touch panel only.
Everything - will lock both the touch panel and hardware buttons.
Disable gestures on external power
When checked, gestures are disabled when the phone is plugged into an external power source. This option is especially useful when the phone is seated in a holder in a car and being used as a GPS. If the ride is rough, the phone might otherwise lock and unlock seemingly at random. The recommended setting is checked.
Disable gestures when upright
When checked, gestures are disabled when the phone is standing upright, either in it natural position or upside down. I recommend you leave this option checked. If not, you will get an increased number of gestures detected as valid when the phone is close to standing completely upright, for instance if it's in your pocket and you're listening to music.
Autolock
This section has do with different kinds of autolocking and unlocking - events other than rotating the phone.
... when phone awakes
This option defines what action SensorLock will take when power is restored, that is when you press the power button or when the device otherwise resumes from sleep.
Do nothing - SensorLock will do nothing, leaving the lock state as it was before going to sleep.
Lock everything - SensorLock will lock everything - the hardware buttons and the touch panel.
Lock panel - SensorLock will lock just the panel. The hardware buttons are enabled.
Unlock phone - The phone will be completely unlocked, touch panel and hardware buttons can be pressed immediately.
... when phone awakes on incoming call
This option defines what action SensorLock will take when power is restored due to an incoming call.
Do nothing - SensorLock will do nothing, leaving the lock state as it was before going to sleep.
Lock everything - SensorLock will lock everything - the hardware buttons and the touch panel.
Lock panel - SensorLock will lock just the panel. The hardware buttons are enabled, so you can answer a call by pressing one of these.
Unlock phone - The phone will be completely unlocked, touch panel and hardware buttons can be pressed immediately.

SensorLock will unlock then phone when call has been successfully connected.
Unlock phone when call ends
When this option is selected
SensorLock will unlock then phone when an incoming call has been answered and then ended.
Unlock phone on external power
When checked, SensorLock will unlock the touch panel and hardware buttons when the phone is plugged into an external power source, for instance when it's connected via USB to a host computer or plugged into the mains charger. The recommended setting is checked.
Relock when back on battery
When checked, the phone will be relocked once the external power source is removed.
Unlock phone when stylus is removed
When checked, SensorLock unlocks the touch panel and hardware buttons when you pull the stylus out from the phone. The recommended setting is checked.
Relock when stylus is inserted
When checked, the phone will be relocked when the stylus is reinserted.
Feedback
The feedback section defines what kind of feedback you'd like as you perform gestures.
Vibrate on successful gesture
When checked, the phone will vibrate briefly when you have performed a gesture. It will vibrate once when locking the phone and twice when unlocking.
Beep on successful gesture
When checked, the phone will beep briefly when you have performed a gesture. It will beep once when locking the phone and twice when unlocking. Event sounds must be enabled in the Sound control panel.
Feedback only when lock changes
When left unchecked, the phone will vibrate or beep whenever you perform a gesture successfully. If this option is checked, the phone will vibrate or beep only when the phone either locks or unlocks - eg. not when unlocking the phone twice in a row.
Show notification icon when locked
When checked a notification padlock icon is displayed in the task bar when the phone is locked.
Miscellaneous
Transcriber compatibility mode
Unfortunately SensorLock's usual operation interferes with the Transcriber input method. If you use Transcriber, you will want to enable this option. However if you do, the "touch panel" options will not be available in "When phone awakes" (in the Autolock section) and "Gestures lock" (in the Gestures section) as these are the ones that interfere with Transcriber.
